Recipe Card: Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream with Ginger

Get your "zenergy" on with this no-churn, easy, dairy-free green tea ice cream. It is super creamy with a slight zing from the spicy ginger - a unique and satisfying dessert.

You will need:

1 tablespoon matcha powder

3 teaspoons ground ginger root

1 can full-fat, unsweetened coconut milk

1/2 cup brown rice syrup

To make:

1. Mix ingredients together in a blender until thoroughly combined

2. Line a freezer-safe pan with parchment or wax paper (9x5 inch loaf pan works well)

3. Pour ice cream mixture into pan and cover with aluminum foil

4. Place in the freezer overnight to allow to fully freeze

5. Allow to sit on the counter for 15 minutes to soften before serving
