Container Gardening with Herbs

In this workshop, we will explain which herb varieties are best suited for container gardening. Bring the aromas and pollinators closer to home, as well as the convenience of culinary herbs. A 9" container, soil, and plants will be provided (feel free to bring your own if you would prefer). Everyone will make their own container garden to enjoy all season long. Cost per person is $30.

Lavender - a healing summertime herb

In this class held by Alicia Frosini, the owner of Sugar Loaf Mountain Herbs, you will learn the many benefits of lavender. Its soothing and balancing nature is well-known, but Alicia will discuss some of the many lesser known attributes. She will also provide tips on growing the aromatic plant in your own garden or pots. ​

As a treat, enjoy some lavender lemonade and take home a soothing sleep sachet. Cost per person is $30.

Wintertime Immune Support

The use of syrups, tonics, elixirs, oxymels, and broths have been used by family herbalists for thousands of years for immune support. Join us for a discussion on these methods of making medicine. We will also prepare a Fire Cider for tasting. Cost per person is $30.
