Tea Time at Sugar Loaf Mountain Herbs

In this informative class, learn the basics of tea, ( Camellia
sinensis) and how to properly brew loose leaf tea.
We will discuss Black, Green, White, Oolongs and Red tea.
Some of the popular botanicals and their many health benefits
will also be discussed including heart healthy ,sleepy time and energizing without caffeine.

Growing Herbs and Natives to attract Pollinators

The spring planting season has begun, and we anxiously await the arrival of the hummingbirds! In this class we will learn which herbs and flowers (including natives) to grow to help the pollinators with a source of nectar and provide food for the beneficial insects and larvae.

In this class we will discuss summertime beverages with and without alcohol to quench your thirst and lift your spirits. Learn how to use botanicals to make shrubs, simple syrups and elixirs that will allow you to create your own signature drinks.
