Garden Health with Herbs

In this class you will learn about increasing the health of your garden by planting culinary herbs. Plus, receive 10% discount on purchase of herb plants.
There will also be a discussion about how “companion planting” can increase yields as well as deter insects.
Healing with Herbs from the Garden

Learn about lavender’s balancing nature, soothing calendula, and more.
Basic herbs in your garden have many healing properties. In this class, join a discussion and demonstration about using herbs as poultices (compresses), how to infuse herbs into oils to make healing salves, and which herbs you can dry to keep at home for healing.
Midsummer Dream Event in Sugar Loaf

During this magical time of Summer Solstice, the fairies thrive! Join us for Midsummer Dream tea and a demonstration about “fairy gardening”.
Moonfeatherz, who makes the beautiful crystal jewelry we sell in the shop, will be bringing her full line of jewelry for a trunk show from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Plus, our garden decor/whimsy will be on sale. This is also a beautiful time to walk our labyrinth before or after your visit.
Preserving Herbs and Flowers with Alicia Frosini (Part 1 of 2)
Part 1: August 5th

Alicia will present a class about pressing and drying flowers and herbs. Each participant will either make a small bouquet or pressed botanicals that will be used for crafting in Part 2 of the class in September. Please come with a heavy book or a flower press and wear something comfortable for being outdoors in the garden.

Enjoy a morning of creating/crafting with the pressed botanicals you worked on in part 1 of the class! All materials will be supplied.
